My name is Juan Manuel Sánchez Rodríguez, a self-taught painter for over thirty years. I work primarily with oil paints and currently cultivate a semi-abstract and geometric style focused on the female figure and quiet spaces where architecture, landscape, and emotion naturally balance each other.
After an initial figurative stage, my current work focuses exclusively on a geometric and silent language, more refined and contemplative, reflecting a natural evolution towards synthesis and visual calm.
My university background is in Philosophy and Clinical Psychology, and I have dedicated 32 years to teaching Philosophy in public secondary schools. This humanistic foundation infuses my work with an introspective and reflective perspective.
My paintings seek to convey calm, identity, and emotional tranquility through refined compositions, precise colors, and female figures that invite you to stop, observe, and connect internally.
