Karen Colville is an up and coming artist who has already exhibited her work on the international level. Working within the tradition of Canadian landscape art, Colville often spends many hours studying a scene before she begins the painting process. Her artwork is a celebration of nature, which is itself, according to the artist, a celebration of Canadian history which has always been intimately linked to land and the concept of territory.
