About this artwork
Have you ever felt sad about how insensitively man treats nature? How every green space is gradually being destroyed, forests are being cut down and people are ruthlessly pursuing only their own profit?
This is what inspired this painting. It reminds not only of the fragility of nature, but also of its strength and ability to renew itself. Even in the concrete jungle, nature will shine like the most precious treasure and one day will take back everything… that belongs to it.
Sadness, but also hope and strength. That is the message of The Last Piece of Nature II, which will fill the space in which it will hang.
Coming from a self-taught background, Šárka Pham mainly uses watercolor and acrylics. Her work, a blend of abstract and figuration, demonstrates a free, expressive style and a proclivity for experimentation. Through her ethereal female forms and atmospheric abstracts, she transmutes profound feelings and personal narratives into visual poetry. Each piece she creates is a piece of her soul, resonating with emotional depth.
