About this artwork
Florence is a work born from admiration for this city. All of us who are lucky enough to visit it return enamored, and this work is born from that love. Painting it was about fulfilling a need, pouring out all the beauty and artistic spirit that permeates the place, a tribute to the cradle of the Renaissance.
My work possesses its own light, a reflection of that spirit, and by unfolding it with colors, it seeks to bring you a piece of that light.…
It belongs to the "10th" series, where all the works are made with fluid media, which are painted with that soft inclination, giving rise to textures and that language of watercolor.

Credentials
- Works on commission
Alfonso Martín primarily uses watercolor and acrylic, merging his art training with his experience as an industrial design engineer. His figurative works possess touches of abstraction thanks to the fluidity of the water, exploring light, atmosphere, and unique textures with a rapid and experimental gestural style. Each painting radiates energy, is luminous, and seeks to move the viewer, captivating them in an intimate atmosphere full of emotion and narrative.
