About this artwork
Panorama is the name of the apartment house that I live in Belo Horizonte. This work reflects a panoramic view of Belo Horizonte, where architecture, hills, and urban rhythm meet the surrounding landscape. The city unfolds in layers — between geometry and nature, density and openness.
The horizon becomes a space of memory and perception, where the urban structure is not fixed but constantly shifting with light, atmosphere, and time. The panorama… captures both the vastness and intimacy of the city, where personal experience and collective space intersect.
Andréa Azzi is a painter with a multicultural background, shaped by academic training at the Bern University of the Arts and extensive experience in visual communication. She combines vibrant color, intuitive gestures, and layered compositions, oscillating between abstraction and figuration, to capture emotional atmospheres and psychological states. Her work conveys a deep sense of human connection, memory, and transformation, inviting viewers to recognize their own inner landscapes within her expressive, shifting visual worlds.
