About this artwork
What struck me up there was neither the cold nor the silence. It was the light. A winter light, both harsh and softened by the evening, which transformed the summit into a magnificent scene.
The low-angled sunlight pierced the clouds, setting them ablaze with pink and peach hues. This unexpected caress instantly settled upon the icy blanket. The snow was no longer white, but an earthly mirror, a sensitive surface… where the sky painted its own chromatic variations, an echo of its warmth.
And amidst this immensity, the rocks and fir trees stood like counterpoints. With their solid presence, these silent witnesses caught the last ochre glimmers of the sun on their slopes, while their bases already plunged into the deep cold of the approaching night. Their dark green and ochre, the only truly earthly colors, anchored this grand choreography of light onto the very real skin of the mountain.

« Each of my paintings bears witness to the moment when the unexpected beauty of light transforms a landscape and calls me to contemplate it. »
She paints in oils alla prima, capturing light and atmosphere with vivid and spontaneous strokes, bringing her paintings to life.
Based in Auvergne, her studio overlooks the Loire Gorges, a volcanic landscape that she explores in all seasons.
The sea, another source of inspiration, nourishes her work, revealing the sublime in the ordinary. Her art goes beyond representation: an ode to nature, eternally renewed.
