About this artwork
The dominating sky occupies most of the canvas, enveloping us in its immensity. The large format of the canvas gives an immersive dimension, with its imposing cloud masses which seem to be in perpetual motion. Through the liveliness of my brushstroke, I tried to express both the density and the lightness of visible reality.
The mountains, touching the lower limit of the canvas, offer a down-to-earth… stability in the face of aerial dynamics. Their dark, calm silhouette is shrouded in subtle shadows, accentuating the depth and serenity of the scene. The fields and meadows below, painted with greenish and golden tones, celebrate the richness and diversity of the rural landscape.
This painting speaks of continuity and the ephemeral, of the sky which continually changes and the earth which remains. There is a discreet poetry at work here, an invitation to contemplation.

« Each of my paintings bears witness to the moment when the unexpected beauty of light transforms a landscape and calls me to contemplate it. »
She paints in oils alla prima, capturing light and atmosphere with vivid and spontaneous strokes, bringing her paintings to life.
Based in Auvergne, her studio overlooks the Loire Gorges, a volcanic landscape that she explores in all seasons.
The sea, another source of inspiration, nourishes her work, revealing the sublime in the ordinary. Her art goes beyond representation: an ode to nature, eternally renewed.
