In this work, I have captured humanity's inner conflicts and longings through expressive forms and metaphysical symbols. The combination of acrylic, oil, and varnish creates a vibrant depth that simultaneously disturbs and fascinates. It is a reflection on the meaning of existence. Shakespeare's Ophelia embodies all the multifaceted questions of existentialism,… nihilism, and essentialism that Martin Heidegger brings together in his analysis of existentiality: self-consciousness, temporality, finitude. Human beings are "thrown" into the world. The individual is condemned to freedom.

Avni Alija uses a wide variety of media, including oil, acrylic, sand, metal, and even wood and pebbles. He originally studied natural sciences and completed the "Paris School" at the Hamburg Academy.
