Strata Lux is a striking concrete relief measuring 50 × 50 cm. Crafted with meticulous care, it features multiple carved layers in solid… concrete that together form a vibrant, energetic 2D composition.
The bold geometry—rendered in shades of pink, violet, and yellow—evokes a sense of fragmentation, motion, and light. It resembles a burst of energy or shards of color slicing through space. The interplay of textures, gradients, and pointillist details adds visual depth and rhythm. A finely lacquered stainless steel frame encloses the piece seamlessly, contrasting its raw concrete foundation while enhancing its contemporary feel. BADASAR.COM
My art springs from a way of perceiving that doesn't dissolve into clear lines or closed forms, but lives in fragments. I don't see the world as a whole, but as a structure made up of individual parts – a composition of lines, points, planes, and the spaces in between. It is these seemingly isolated components that condense into a larger image in my work. Mentally, I move between space and time, capturing fragments, fleeting moments, and visual impulses. These fragments initially stand alone, almost independent of one another, and only find each other through a conscious arrangement. In this way, a new order emerges – not a mere depiction of reality, but an interpretation of how I experience it. What arises is not a closed narrative, but an invitation. A system that invites the viewer to make their own connections and find their own meanings. BADASAR
