About this artwork
In this work, I explore a landscape of trees in the dead of night, where darkness acts as both pictorial material and a space of perception. I work the scene from a silent atmosphere, in which light appears in a fragmented way, guiding the viewer's interpretation of the image.
The trees become structures that emerge and dissolve into the gloom, creating a sense of depth and suspension. I'm interested in that moment when nature loses its definition… and transforms into a visual experience.
The painting is constructed as a threshold between the visible and the hidden, where the night landscape opens up as a field of interpretation in motion.
