This slender sculpture blends the raw strength of wood with the mineral depth of iron. Its vertical silhouette evokes an ancient, almost spiritual presence, poised between shadow and light. The metallic facets embedded within the work seem to emerge like a buried memory or an inner armor.

Born in Toulon in 1957, Christian Davide is a self-taught painter-sculptor, experimenting with wood and metal. He explores lyrical abstraction and singular art, using natural and recycled materials, letting natural materials and forms speak for themselves.
