In her art, Ilo Dwingelo explores the emotional aspects of human existence – change, inner growth, and the search for balance. The starting point for her artistic work was a personal turning point: after experiencing burnout while working as an architect, she found a new form of expression and a path to reorientation in painting.
In her large-format acrylic paintings, she works with layers, structures, and vibrant color palettes. Her works make inner experiences visible and convey strength, movement, and development. Areas of color and organic forms represent memories, change, and the multifaceted nature of human experience.
