About this artwork
"Provençal Mosaic: Poppies and Lavender" is a vibrant tribute to the splendor of the South of France.
This acrylic painting is executed in a technique inspired by pointillism and impressionism, where each independent stroke of color unites to form a scene full of light and movement.
The foreground is dominated by the intensity of red poppies, contrasting beautifully with the deep mauve of the lavender fields in the midground. A narrow path guides… the eye towards a small stone house and the iconic cypress trees of Provence.
The bold, segmented use of color gives the canvas a joyful energy and rich texture, evoking the warmth and scent of summer. This painting is ideal for bringing a touch of sunshine, vibrant colors, and abstract landscape to a contemporary interior.
The artwork is signed and painted on professional-quality canvas.

« Art and painting, for me, represents an escape from everyday life. It's the moment when I find myself with myself. »
"Painting is an escape from everyday life for me. It's the moment when I find myself alone."
A recognized artist as both a painter and photographer, I divide my time between Canada and Spain. My canvases are distinguished by their vibrant colours—a reflection of my optimistic and joyful nature—and explore Impressionist and Abstract styles.
I have extended my artistic expression to creative and abstract photography, a complementary way of exploring light and form. This approach, often inspired by Impressionism, enriches my painting practice by merging the spontaneity of the moment with my personal vision.
