About this artwork
Karen and Didier's work establishes movement, erasure, waiting, and silence. Nothing is said in order to conceal nothing. But everything is left suspended, in a state of becoming, between the desire to see, to know, and to touch; a fleeting illusion of an intimate encounter. The distance that remains between desire and fulfilled flesh.
