About this artwork
This painting was inspired by my happy 3-month stay at the lovely Swatch Art Peace Hotel in amazing Shanghai, China. Flowers were everywhere!
I poured my heart into this vibrant dance of colors, capturing the joyful harmony of blooming flowers under a glowing sky. Each brushstroke blends expressionism with impressionism, evoking a radiant energy that uplifts the soul. This painting invites warmth and hope into your space, transforming any room… with its lively spirit and the promise of new beginnings.

I am a bestselling polymath painter. My floral art is based on actual medical/scientific studies on health and happiness. In 2024, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine interviewed me for my “happy” art and my book, 100 Days Of Happy Happy Art, Evidence-Based Design. My art was also on the Jan/Feb 2025 cover of Healthcare Design Magazine. I am EDAC certified.
By 2050, an estimated 70% of the world’s population will live in cities. My Smart City Art abstract series promotes this planet-healing idea. I also worked in Tokyo as an English rewriter for the anime/animation industry, which included working on a Studio Ghibli film before it got sold to Disney. I believe this influence comes out in my Smart City Art abstracts.
In 2026, I was awarded a 3-month artist residency in beautiful Shanghai, China. From this experience came the Swatch Art Peace Hotel art series.
I have recently started sharing art inspired by my Northern Woodlands Native American/French-Metis heritage.
