About this artwork
This large-scale painting explores the surface as a space of memory and accumulation. Layered textures, dense pigments, and traces of vegetal forms evoke a terrain shaped by time and human presence.
The upper part of the canvas is intentionally cut, revealing the worn wooden stretcher as part of the composition.
Small plaster Venus figures—archetypal symbols of Mother Nature—appear as embedded relics, transforming the work into a personal souvenir… of cultural and material memory.
