About this artwork
In this painting, I wanted to capture the complexity of the human soul through intense colors and expressionist strokes, blending realism with abstraction. The vibrant energy of yellow and the irreverence of smoke convey a powerful emotional tension, ready to transform any space into a space filled with reflection and creative energy. It's like a spark that ignites curiosity and passion.
I wanted to capture the intensity of a gaze that invites reflection… and pause, like a mind switch that turns on and off. The female figure, immersed in an acidic environment, conveys emotions and stimulates a dialogue of strength and vulnerability at the same time. She smokes to feel liberated.
