The Luxembourg Gardens, in their sunny grassy hollow, framed by their tall palm trees and their cool shade where heated discussions or indolent naps take refuge, are a true paradise!
The flowerbeds dotted with large white marble vases create a rich, shimmering mantle, embellished by a sumptuous necklace of plants brought out for the fine weather: orange trees and their small, still-green oranges, pomegranate trees with beautiful purple flowers,… oleanders...
Only the children are busy around the large pool from which their little sailboats launch.
