About this artwork
In my triptych engraving "UPGRADE" I fuse elements from comics, the figurative and pop art to tell a vibrant visual story. This work explores change and the human experience in a rapidly evolving society. Each panel is a dynamic fabric of colors and shapes that challenges the viewer to reflect on the complexity and transitions of life. made in colored ink on lithographic cardboard sheets, glued to wooden boards and covered with colorless varnish. Some images are cut out due to glued cardboard and raised above the general image, creating a volume effect.

We are surrounded by an incomprehensible world in which you can get lost. We look into it and try to find ourselves. This is an ongoing process. The artist sees deeper and tries to convey what he saw. What he was able to see and express becomes a fact that did not exist before. The artist's life is a journey. He will never be satisfied until the end. He will always look into this world and create facts. Connoisseurs will look for definitions, connoisseurs will discover new colors, children will enjoy pictures. At some point the artist asks himself and others: "What is happening? What is this world, where are we? What is this life we live?" He collects his work and makes an exhibition. Most likely, there will be no exact answer, new questions arise that are the engines of this journey called life.
