About this artwork
Explore the hidden beauty of Portugal's rich cultural heritage with this captivating watercolor painting. "Torn Beauty" features an old wall where stunning blue azulejo tiles are partially revealed beneath a torn paper poster. The textured layers and various shades of blue and gray tell a story of restoration and preservation, capturing the timeless elegance of Portuguese tilework.
Measuring 50 x 70 cm and oriented horizontally, this artwork is… meticulously crafted with professional-grade watercolors on high-quality, 300 g acid-free Arches watercolor paper. The intricate detailing of the tiles and the rough, textured appearance of the torn poster create a compelling contrast, emphasizing the delicate beauty that lies beneath the surface.
