About this artwork
There's a place where the noise of the world stops. A suspended place, where time slows and the soul can finally hear itself.
The circle was born with my daughter. In that moment, I understood that that shape contained everything: the cycle of life, protection, the return of time, the imperfect perfection of what we love.
For over ten years, I have explored the circle as a language of the soul. Two spheres seek each other in a golden silence:… one holds the light of gold, warm and ancient like a precious memory. The other, woven with white threads, is fragile like a dream at dawn.
The black mark runs through them both. It doesn't divide them: it unites them. Like scars do with the stories that truly matter.
The work has been featured in solo exhibitions, fairs, and international group shows, and was included in the prestigious catalogue Lo Stato dell'Arte at the time of the 60th Venice Biennale.
