About this artwork
Awakening is part of my chakra series and belongs to the crown chakra.
In the past I would have tried to smooth out the cracks, but today I know that such traces tell the true story.
My path to art wasn't smooth either.
There were doubts, detours, decisions that required courage, but from that something wonderful emerged that feels right today.
For me, the purple layers represent development that comes from within, step by step.
And this small… bright spot in the middle is like a moment of clarity for me.
The moment you realize, I'm continuing on my path.
