About this artwork
Completed 08/30/26 and drying. Artwork ships late September/early October 2026.
Dedicated to the spirit of the eternal coach, the leader and the inspiration to achieve physically and mentally in a tough world! I think we undervalue or overlook the importance of positive mentors in this world and the things we've unconsciously absorbed over the years...the things that push us through tough times. To me, Coach is an inspirational figurehead representing… an ideal, what becomes best in us. Also a little dedication to Babe Ruth with lucky number 3!
On an additional side not, I truly loved mixing that background blue-green. It is visually stunning!

« Either way, my message for the viewer is simple. Enjoy my work for its visual elements. Experience the excitement of the micro, macro, and then the subliminal. Rinse and repeat. »
Jon Parlangeli is a passionate American painter and sculptor who has widely exhibited his work throughout the U.S. Fascinated by the process of creation, he composes works that experiment with color and the physicality of paint. Parlangeli's creations stand out for their depth and tactility, appearing as explosions of bright color and unexpected shapes. Parlangeli additionally includes a representational balance of nature and humanity in his work, that merges with abstract elements to create a kind of historic bibliophile hidden in the paint.
