About this artwork
This series presents a series of images of the sea. The sea as that element that is fundamental in our terrestrial life. Throughout the years we have been containing it to build, plowing through it to move, extracting all kinds of riches from it, fishing its waters and filling it, especially in the 20th and 21st centuries with our waste and causing disturbing modifications. In these pieces a disturbing sea is shown, manipulated and why not different…
from the natural landscapes that have been painted until now.

« I deeply believe that contemporary art is autopoietic and draws on its own languages and ways of expressing itself. »
