Romantic full moon night down under - In addition to its quiet beauty, the moon also drew attention with a wide halo ring.
A passionfruit plant climbed a ladder in the garden of a suburban house in Sydney. Lush and laden with fruit, it blossomed beyond its top rung. Did its delicate blossoms reach for the stars, or were they merely my thoughts and desires?
The nocturnal atmosphere, the moonlight, the tendrils and aspirations presented a challenge… for artistic expression on paper. The result evokes the joy of playful design using graphic means. The halo, a silver ring, and the delicate green accents enhance the effect.
In the composition, the diagonal reinforces the upward movement of nature and human emotions.
