About this artwork
I painted this picture directly in front of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Through the beauty of the building in spring, I wanted to show that Europe should continue to think positively and that European countries should work together. In the exhibition at the Orangerie of the Paris Senate, this image, with its blossoming trees, was well-received and made the European approach more accessible and personally tangible.
