About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to return to a more intimate territory, almost suspended in time. Two figures sail silently on still water, as if there were no specific destination, only the act of being and letting themselves be carried away.
The paper boats speak of fragility, of childhood, of the ephemeral, while the surroundings—the clouds, the air, the light—create a space that doesn't entirely belong to reality. It's an emotional place, more than… a physical one.
The rising balloon and the floating shapes suggest freedom, but also distance, like those moments we know will never be repeated. I'm interested in that balance between lightness and depth, between simplicity and symbolism.
It is a work that invites you to stop, to breathe differently, and to connect with that quieter, more contemplative part that we all have.
