About this artwork
**“Deep Current”** draws the eye into a multifaceted world of blues, turquoises, grays, and light natural tones. Flowing color fields meet relief-like structures, fine lines, and surprising forms that only reveal themselves upon closer inspection.
Like artifacts recovered from an unknown depth, individual elements appear and disappear again. Some are reminiscent of organic forms, water, rock, or traces of past worlds – yet nothing is definitively… established. It is precisely this interplay between recognition and discovery that constitutes the image's unique appeal.
The different surfaces and textures give the work a pronounced spatial effect. Depending on the angle of the light, different details emerge and make the surface appear vibrant.
With its generous format of **90 × 90 cm**, “Tiefenströmung” is an expressive, unique piece that has a particularly strong effect in modern, minimalist or bright rooms.
