About this artwork
Inspired by the Caspian Sea and its golden shores, Caspio emerges from the interplay of water, light, and matter. The richly textured surface unfolds through layers, incisions, and textures that evoke the movement of waves and the natural erosion of the coastline. The craquelé effect introduces an almost geological dimension: the surface seems to preserve the passage of time, while the shades of blue, white, and gold recall the contrast between the…
depth of the sea and the luminosity of its shores.
An immersive work, conceived not as a simple representation of the landscape, but as an exploration of the materiality and memory of a place.
