Mira Mitrova is a prize-winning Macedonian artist who has exhibited her work throughout Macedonia and the US. She is mostly inspired by her aunt Vera Cejkovska, a geophysicist and famous poet, pursuing her own creative field with passion, confidence and pride. Mitrova explores the principal theme of liberty in a consumerist society, and depicts entangled portraits, bodies, shapes and colours with a fantastical flair.
