About this artwork
This painting was born from a free gesture, without any intention of representing a specific subject. As it was being created, a space instinctively took shape. It was only when the canvas was turned over that the image of a kitchen appeared, with its counter, its furniture, and the discreet presence of silhouettes that seem to inhabit the space.
Vibrant reds dominate the composition, conveying the warmth, activity, and energy of a living space.… White, blue, and yellow lines flow like currents, voices, or movements, creating a rhythm that evokes the bustle of everyday life. Forms oscillate between abstraction and figuration, allowing the viewer the freedom to discover objects, figures, or simply an inner landscape.
