In this series "The Little Girl" I explore those discreet moments when the child tips towards a form of self-awareness.
"Doudou"—the third work in this series—is an intimate variation. In this oil painting, I wanted to capture the tenderness and innocence of a suspended moment between a little girl and her cuddly toy. Through a style blending realism and expressionism, I sought to evoke the gentle and fragile emotion of this moment.
