21 canvases mounted on cardboard, cobalt blue pastel on an ink background, resulting from research into the optimization of primary colors, in this case cobalt blue – mounted on wood. The online image shows two series side by side, but one or both sets of the same size can be purchased. This work was exhibited at the Charterhouse of Molsheim – various sizes were displayed, filling one of the Charterhouse's rooms. The success of my exhibition led… to this room being used annually by artists during the event celebrating all the sacred sites of Alsace.
Nourit Masson-Sekine, a transdisciplinary artist and graduate of the Beaux-Arts, explores painting, photography, calligraphy, watercolor, and costume design, drawing heavily on her travels, particularly to Japan. Her techniques oscillate between nuanced expressionism and minimalism, utilizing Chinese paper, ink, and Butoh photography, a style that has particularly influenced her. Her art expresses a poetic intensity and a profoundly moving human depth, seeking to reveal the mystery of perception and form, far removed from any purely decorative intent.
