The Clash of Roosters
In order to win this infamous game, the roosters fight, one of the roosters should kill the other one with his claws and beak. The victory is baptized with the blood of the defeated one. In life, the concept is the same, because winning the power only happens by eliminating the opponent.
The project consists of many paintings in which I show many colorful roosters fighting each other in very antagonistic and aggressive way.… The survivor has to keep some feathers at the end of the combat to celebrate the frenzies of delight of victory. However, is it a real victory? A victory at the expense of many victims...But, who are the victims?

Qais Al Sindy is an Iraqi-American multi-media artist versed in painting, installation, video, conceptual and performance art.
