About this artwork
Interludio explores the fragility of the image and the suspension of time through the layering of figurative elements and incomplete spaces. The central figure, inspired by classical references, appears isolated within a fragmented environment where architecture, memory, and pictorial matter coexist in tension.
The white areas function as visual silences and interruptions, while translucent layers and eroded gestures transform the image into an… unstable presence suspended between appearance and disappearance. The work proposes a dialogue between intimacy and contemporaneity, where painting becomes trace, memory, and transformation.
Acrylic and mixed media on panel.
