About this artwork
This work is part of my Motion Series.
The series deals with those moments when movement becomes an inner state.
In freeRelease, the figure stands with its back to the viewer, surrounded by water, light, and memory. The tension of the moment seems to have already passed, leaving behind a moment of letting go – calm, powerful, and completely at peace.
The multifaceted shades of blue, white, and black lend the work depth and atmosphere. Movement… is not visible here as action, but as an echo – as a feeling of freedom that arises when we leave everything else behind for a moment.
The work invites the viewer to pause and feel the quiet power of letting go.
