About this artwork
This work was born from my research on the concept of "emotional healing and inner serenity".
I painted this canvas as a reflection of an inner sunset where scars, instead of being hidden, are celebrated and made precious, just like in the ancient Eastern philosophy of Kintsugi.
For me, “Golden Fenditure” represents the calm after the storm, the regenerating silence in which the soul finds its center and its peace.

Valeria Pianese, who signs her works with the pseudonym “Berry,” is a Neapolitan artist living in Zurich whose visual research explores the relationship between color, emotion, symbolism, and consciousness as the primary means to peer into the depths of the human soul.
Influenced by Mediterranean European culture and literature and by an interest in behavioral psychology, Valeria conceives art not only as a tool for investigating experience and reality, but also as an inner transformation and a process of ongoing research.
