About this artwork
Carlo Carrà's house wasn't a house, it was more of a port than a house. Various images followed one another, and on a small table in the hall, elements of his paintings appeared and disappeared. I placed a bottle of vermouth on it, just as one of his maritime pines stopped on the table. I brought the bottle, thinking it would be welcome, given its Piedmontese origins. There was no chair to sit on, and boats of all kinds continued to drift on a seemingly…
still sea. The Maestro waved to me from the little house on the table, I looked around, and closed the door.

Vittoriano Ferioli, a painter with a graphic soul and thirty years of experience working for major brands, uses painting and creativity as his means of expression. He experiments with a figurative style influenced by abstraction and pop art, enriching his works with writings and conceptual irony. In his domestic landscapes and imaginary encounters with 20th-century artists, he conveys a subtle emotion: he invites us to reflect on the present with a curious eye on the future, leaving a poetic trace of the times we live in.
