« Art should inspire. »
German artist Inge Frank lives out her creativity freely and begins to follow her unbridled creative urge very early in life. She develops her own, liberal and expressive language. After her career as a designer, she's been completely dedicated to art since 2000. She lives and works near Munich, in Dießen am Ammersee, where many artists have lived throughout the times.
Powerful, expressive works
Inge Frank usually produces large-format or multi-part, abstract works. It is not about creating an exact image, but also about using color to express the essence of her impressions of landscapes, nature and people that she has been able to explore during her many study visits. She brings impressions, emotions and her inner experience to the screen and thus provides a subjective, personal impression.Lire la suite
Inge Frank already has color compositions and motifs in mind before she starts painting. One could say that she uses her inner research as a sketchbook. In a way, she memorizes her ideas on paper. She then uses oil, pigments of all provenances, to transfer them to canvas in accordance with the old master technique. She creates lots of tension and motion in her paintings through dynamic, expressive and liberated gestures.
Sphere of activity
Since 2000, Inge Frank's works have regularly appeared in solo and group exhibitions in galleries, museums and art fairs. Her work has been purchased by numerous private and public collections. Inge Frank also considers the act of combining the art and artists from the ivory tower a matter of the heart. Therefore, in cooperation with her colleague, Silke Gottschalk, she launched the DIESSENER KUNSTSALON.Masquer
