About this artwork
A relief made of lines that was apparently geometrically structured at the beginning gradually merges into a landscape of unpredictable faults. An oscillation between order and chaos, urban space and nature, image and sculpture. The bright ink and the polished metallic structures create a calm and relaxed atmosphere that fits into any interior, absorbs and intensifies the respective light situation. The aluminum and… the lightfast ink are waterproof, the shine is permanently retained due to the natural properties of the pure metal.
The picture sculpture weighs 4 kg, is signed on the front and back with the initials cR and also dated on the back. The integrated mounting system enables any orientation and gives the object an effective distance from the wall.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
