About this artwork
Work belonging to the "Lighthouse" cycle, buildings that the painter considers perfect metaphors of the human condition, and which have received an excellent reception from critics and collectors of the Italian artist.
Remarkable is the technique used which, thanks to the use of pumice stone gel, gives material thickness and depth to the work.
The painting will be part of the next virtual personal exhibition "Cromoesplosioni" curated by Elisabetta… La Rosa from 15 to 28 November 2021 whose catalog will be sent as a gift to the buyer.
Work painted on the sides can also be exhibited without frame and is shipped with Singulart certificate of authenticity and archival document with stamp.

Gianluca De Leo is an Italian artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Naples and the love and hate relationship that many of its inhabitants have with the city is one of the recurring themes in his art. De Leo's compositions combine geometrization and the abstract, depicting precise "non-places", which he describes as being very different from how it is represented and portrayed by media hype. His minimalist compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
