About this artwork
It is these moods that carry us away and allow us to dream. Our thoughts are light, and we let ourselves drift. We are usually not looking for anything concrete; instead, we float lightly and freely, feeling safe and secure. With its soft, open spaces in delicately graduated pastel shades, "go with the flow" gives the viewer the opportunity to immerse themselves in the described mood and embark on their own mental journey. The very light and delicate… blue tones have a calming effect, and the maritime scene opens our perception to boundless possibilities. The subtle gradations in the depiction of both the sea and the sky create a three-dimensional impression in a space without limits, perhaps associated with the idea of embarking on a journey to a distant land.
« I want to be creative and experience creativity. Therefore I paint what I feel and with great tension, I look at what surrounds me. »
Hasso Heybrock is an artist based in Germany who has exhibited his works nationally, as well as in Denmark, Italy, and Spain. He believes that looking at a painting means walking into an unknown adventure through the picture, where hidden emotions come to the surface. For Heybrock, making the adventure as intense and exciting as possible for the viewer is his main challenge as a painter.
