Yin or Yang?
The title, "Yin or Yang?", refers to the Chinese philosophy of complementary dualism, where two opposing forces coexist and balance each other.
The curved and twisted lines evoke both tension and harmony, struggle and complementarity.
The recycled material, the tire, recalls the capacity for transformation: from a utilitarian object destined for the scrap heap, a meaningful work of art emerges.
Between shadow and light, matter bends,… twists, reinvents itself.
Two opposing forces intersect, intertwine, and balance each other.
