Acerca de la obra
ARI - ARIADNA BUST is a bronze sculpture, it was cut from the original full body sculpture Ariadna.
The title refers to the myth of Ariadne’s thread. The myth says that Theseus, upon arriving in Crete, fell in love with Princess Ariadne, daughter of Minos, and she provided him with the means to kill the Minotaur, as well as a ball of thread or wool with which to find his way back. inside of the labyrinth.
In the artist’s vision, this thread is… the thread of one’s life each person is artifice and responsible for his own destiny, since he literally has his own life in his hands. In the case of women, they have taught us that our lives always depend on someone else, they have educated us to wait for Prince Charming to save us, and to put order and make us finally happy.
This piece invites reflection on affective responsibility, and the ability of each one to create what he wants and the necessary struggle of women

« Las historias de cada personaje, aisladas en una dimensión íntima y personal, son reflexiones sobre valores humanos, percepciones y emociones. »
