What was or is the inspiration or concept behind this exhibition?

Bright colors and dreams are what give joy and invite you to smile on a new day, allowing you to share the joy of life with the world.

What’s the message behind your exhibition?

Life, regardless of how you got it, is already moving and now it is only your choice where to direct it and how to treat the results of your decisions. I prefer to live in bright colors of joy and make any place where I am “A Place Where Dreams Come True” and I invite everyone to try what it is like.

What’s your personal highlight of the exhibition?

This amazing moment when visitors, art collectors, and gallery representatives stand in front of your paintings and share with you and with each other what they feel, see, and sense at that moment, and I confirm again and again for myself how important what I do is.

Moreover, is there a particular piece in the series that you’re most fond of? Why?

This painting reminds me that life is not static, that everything flows, everything changes and if you do not realize your dreams in time, then time can be lost, that if you do not realize your dreams, then new ones will not appear. It is so important to do something right now so that in the future you can rely on the results of your past and that it would still be relevant.

This diptych was painted specifically for my previous solo exhibition as a painting in two parts that was supposed to hang on two separate columns at a distance of two meters. This time has passed and now these two parts, separated in the past, hang together and fill the surrounding space with harmony.

Additionally, nothing in life could have been done better; everything we accomplish is the best we are capable of at that moment, and each action becomes an essential part of our journey. In theory, this painting could have more details, but part of the painting was left more spacious so that looking at it the gaze had a place to dream comfortably and connect in a moment of inspiration.

If you encountered any challenges during your latest exhibition, how did you manage to tackle and overcome them?

At the exhibition, I had a place allocated for 22 paintings, but I brought 34 with me. I brought more to see on site how the paintings would look in harmony with each other and the hall and to choose the best ones. And the hardest thing was to accept that I would take 12 of them back to the car and choose which ones. Because I really wanted to hang all 34.

Probably one of the most difficult moments for artists at exhibitions is those very creative cosmic impulses that allow them to paint unusual interesting paintings, at the exhibition itself to be able to replace with the practical ability to do everything on time, rationally and comfortably for the organizers and art collectors. It was difficult to cope exactly until the moment when I remembered that the “unattainably ideal” interferes with the “optimal” and that the “unattainably ideal” has no future.

How would you recommend a visitor to experience your creation?

My solo exhibition “A Place Where Dreams Come True” in Art Works RVA ended a few days ago. However, my Instagram @ro_art_us has photos from the exhibition that I invite you to explore.

What kind of engagement or interaction do you hope to have with your audience?

Regardless of what the artist says, the only irrefutable confirmation of the value of his paintings for art collectors is the presence of the artist’s paintings in their collections.

I think that from the exhibitions themselves, the artist gets the opportunity to demonstrate his works in a respectable place to which the organizers invite art collectors, confirming the significance of the exhibition and the artist with their authority.

For a painting to find its new home, it must be seen.

What’s next for you? Are you already working on a new series or project?

Recently, the Art Works RVA gallery offered me another solo exhibition in their gallery so in the near future there will be more details on my Instagram @ro_art_us.
