In this interview, Association and Partnership Relations Manager in Géant des Beaux-Arts, Joël Kempf, discusses company vision and commitment to the artistic community.
Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your role as Association & Partnership Relations Manager at Géant des Beaux-Arts?
My name is Joël Kempf, I am 36 years old and I have been working at Géant des Beaux-Arts for almost 7 years. I am in charge of developing partnerships with various artistic structures as well as the company’s events (presence at trade fairs, store events).
Géant des Beaux-Arts is a key partner for many artists. What sets your offer apart and how do you concretely support the artistic community?
Beyond a reliable commercial relationship, we attach great importance to a human and caring collaboration. This is why we will be your long-term partner during artistic events, providing our support both in terms of material and communication
You were a member of the jury for the Singulart Award 2024. What aspects of the works particularly struck you during your selection?
Mainly the technicality in the technique. The choices were relatively complex as the level was high in 2024!
The Géant des Beaux-Arts offered €1,000 in equipment to the winner. Why is it important for you to support artists through initiatives like these?
It is important to register beyond a simple distributor of equipment. Supporting partner structures and their artists is very important to us because it is an integral part of our company’s values.
You have agreed to relay the Singulart Prize 2025 to your artist communities. What essential advice would you give to candidates to improve their chances of success?
