A curation by Natalie Slater, Curator at Singulart - 'Shattered Forms' brings together painters, mixed-media artists, collage artists, and photographers whose practices circle the language of fracture. Figures are split, recomposed, and reassembled; surfaces break apart like glass, only to reconfigure into new constellations. In some works, the body is fragmented into partial anatomies, suspended between wholeness and dissolution. In others, collage and digital interventions splinter the image, forcing the eye to reconcile disjointed parts into tenuous unity. Across the selection, fracture becomes not merely an act of breaking, but a way of seeing—an aesthetic of disruption that reveals unexpected cohesion within the shattered.
