Andrew Khalturin es un pintor ucraniano que recibió la Medalla del Fondo de Cultura de Ucrania por sus logros y contribuciones al arte y la cultura. Él atribuye la creación de su "primer trabajo real" a un autorretrato realizado en 1989. Desde entonces, ha seguido trabajando con personas, pintando sus retratos. Las composiciones realistas, figurativas y de naturaleza muerta de Khalturin están hechas con óleos sobre lienzo.
