David Forster es un pintor autodidacta reconocido por su dominio magistral de la acuarela, que a menudo combina pasteles suaves con técnicas innovadoras. Orquesta una «resolución del caos», fusionando salpicaduras gestuales, clasicismo de pincelada amplia, composiciones inspiradas en el collage y vibrantes contrastes de color para explorar paisajes románticos y complejos, moldeados por la presencia humana y la historia natural.
