Ethel Vrana es una experimentada pintora abstracta en los Estados Unidos cuyo trabajo se ha exhibido regionalmente en exposiciones individuales y colectivas. Vrana ha estado pintando desde que su madre le regaló un juego profesional de pinturas al óleo para su decimocuarto cumpleaños, y finalmente se convirtió en maestra de arte y continuó con su práctica. Sus paisajes impresionistas se han convertido en su estilo actual de pintura abstracta, inspirada en las formas fundamentales de la naturaleza y la relación entre las formas y el color. Vrana crea espontáneamente utilizando técnicas experimentales como collage acrílico, pintura en capas y tintas transparentes.
